Watch Manager and Watch Officer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor and report significant geopolitical and security-related developments that have impact to the organisation

• Alert relevant stakeholders to incidents or crisis early and ensure that response plans are activated in a timely manner

• Coordinate efforts to validate effectiveness of crisis response to ensure that stakeholders are adequately prepared. (e.g. running regular organisational level crisis response exercises)
  

If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to:

• Provide operational leadership for the team

• Design and implement workplace processes with future trends and needs in mind

• Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and operational areas

• Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders

• Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential
