1. How do I apply for a job at SID?
Click here to
view the current vacancies and apply to the role(s). You will be asked
to create an account via SingPass and complete an application form.
Upon submission, you will be prompted to upload the following supporting documents:

2. Who can apply for a position at SID?
You must be a Singapore citizen.
We welcome both fresh graduates and mid-career professionals from the private and public sectors.
3. Can I apply if I am not residing in Singapore?
It is not advisable to apply if you are a Singapore citizen residing outside
Singapore and do not intend to return in the near term, because some parts
of our recruitment process are conducted in-person. While you can still
apply if you are prepared to return to Singapore for the in-person sessions,
it may serve you better to apply when you are back in Singapore for a more
substantial period of time.
4. I am currently a student. Can I submit my application for any of the job listings?
You may apply if you are able to commence work within a year from your
application date.
5. Where can I find available positions?

6. Can I apply for more than one position at the same time?
Yes, you may submit more than one job application at the same time.
7. If some of the required documents are not yet available, would it be possible to request an extension?
You may submit the documents you have on hand first and send in the remaining
documents to SIDrecruitment@mindef.gov.sg when
ready.
8. I am currently serving my bond with a public agency. Can I transfer my bond to SID?
Candidates are required to fulfil all existing bond obligations before
commencing employment with SID. You are welcome to submit your application
when you are able to join us within one year if your application date.
9. If my application is unsuccessful, can I re-apply?
If you have acquired new skills or work experience since your last application,
you are welcome to re-apply. Your new application will be assessed independently
on its own merits.
10. Do you provide feedback if my application is unsuccessful?
All applications are assessed vigorously based on stringent criteria such
as an applicant's qualifications, relevant work experience and skills,
and performance in tests and at interviews.
Due to the sensitive nature of our organisation, we cannot provide such feedback.
11. What if I change my mind and want to withdraw my application?

12. I am unable to create an account via SingPass. Who can I contact for assistance?
You may log in to your SingPass:
1. Go to My Profile
2. Select Personal
3. Check that your mobile number and email address are registered
