Internal Auditor

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Plan and execute audit assurance and advisory projects

• Appraise the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls

• Identify risks and potential control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to strengthen governance and internal controls

• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive change and enhance organisational governance

• Support efforts to build capabilities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of audits

• Promote good governance and control practices within the organisation through education and training

DESIRED QUALITIES AND ATTRIBUTES

• Recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline

• Possession of professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) is preferred

• At least three years of work experience in auditing or accounting

• Ability to demonstrate a high degree of integrity and initiative

• Ability to thrive and multitask in a dynamic environment, and meet deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills

• Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
